These are easy sandwiches that can be made ahead of time, wrapped and placed in the refridgerator until time for the party. The thin sliced bread has a firmer texture and is easier to cut with the cookie cutter. We found it is much easier to put the spreads on the bread and then cut through two slices rather than trying to spread once the bread had been cut. Believe it or not, mint jelly and hummus are a great combo.
2 loaves thin sliced bread (we used Pepperidge Farm)
1 container hummus
1 jar mint jelly
1 can deviled ham
4 ounces cream cheese at room temperature
1. For 1/3 of the sandwiches, spread hummus on the bread and cut.
2. For 1/3 of the sandwiches, spread mint jelly on the bread and cut.
3. For the remaining sandwiches, mix together the deviled ham and the cream cheese and spread on the bread and then cut.
